Key Issues
In recent years, political polarization has dramatically increased. Its important to keep an open mind (and not generalize) about each parties stance, as each person has their own perspective on the issues discussed below. The general perspective of each party on relevant topics is detailed below, however that does not mean all members of that party share that stance. This provides a good jumping off point, but interested people should do their own research to develop an opinion about these important topics.

Halt catch and release, build Border Wall, station troops at Southern Boarder, US Naval blockade to stop fentanyl, Alien Enemies Act, Title 42, ending sanctuary cities, strict vetting, promote merit based immigration
Bring back the American Dream and make is accessible for everyone
Reduce mortgage rates by slashing inflation, open a small amount of federal land for home construction, promote owning a home by cutting taxes and decreasing regulations, create affordable alternatives to 4 year degree, lower price of prescription drugs
Protect American Workers and farmers from unfair trade
Baseline tariffs (as tariffs increase, tax on Americans can go down), respond to unfair trade, independence from China, buy American hire Americans, become manufacturing superpower, cancel electric vehicle mandates
Protect Seniors
Protect Medicare and Social Security, tax credits for caregivers,
Cultivate effective schools that lead to great jobs and lives for young people
Merit pay for teachers, focus on Parental Rights, project based learning, drug free schools, overhaul standards of discipline, focusing on education (no CRT), freedom to pray, return education back to the states
Bring common sense back to government
Foundational roles of families (Sanctity of marriage), restore law and order in cities, Federal control over DC, care for veterans, combat antisemitism, support classic Liberal Arts education, restore genuine conservation efforts, honor American history

Prosecute those who misuse federal power, dismantle censorship, defend religious liberty, oppose late term abortion, support mothers (Prenatal care, birth control), support the 14th amendment, ensure election integrity, protect and support American territories, protect women and girls spaces

Foreign policy centered around America, modernize military, strengthen military, Strengthen Economic, Military, and Diplomatic Capabilities, protect critical infrastructure
Democrat Party Platform
Growing the economy from the bottom up and middle out
Invest in infrastructure, manufacturing, clean energy, and technology, support small businesses and family farms, create good jobs with higher wages, apprenticeships, and strong unions, expand opportunities in rural and underserved communities.
Rewarding work, not wealth
Cut taxes for working families, make the wealthy and large corporations pay their fair share and end special interest loopholes.
Lowering costs
Lower health care and prescription drug costs, expand child care, home care, paid leave, bring down prices for housing, education, groceries, gas, protect and strengthen Social Security, Medicare, pensions.
Tackling climate crisis, lowering energy costs, and securing energy independence
Invest in clean, affordable American energy (create clean energy jobs), reduce pollution and make polluters pay, strengthen environmental justice and climate resilience, conserve natural resources and lead globally on climate change related matters
Protecting communities, and tackling gun violence
Enforce commonsense gun safety laws including Red Flag Laws and hiring mental health professionals, invest in policing and public safety, grow public trust, reform the criminal justice system (focus on rehabilitation), combat violence against women

Strengthen NATO and alliances in Europe and the Indo-Pacific, compete responsibly with China, support stability in the Middle East, Africa, and the Western Hemisphere, lead with diplomacy, values, and a strong U.S. military, protect the global economy
